The ranch at LUNABERG ECO TOUR, located in the middle of a tropical jungle, is constructed of natural materials in the spirit of the yoga philosophy. Our guests get to know our gentle friends, the horses, as a means of transport to beautiful ecological sites and our power place.
Our eco-tour includes a visit to a mangrove lagoon forest and then a small fishing village, filled with beautiful wildlife and many species of tropical birds. Afterwards, we ride horses on the beach, refreshed by the trade winds, and we admire the wealth of sea shells and white sand.
A hearty lunch is prepared in the traditional Dominican style over a fire or fogón After lunch, we ride into the mountains to experience an unforgettable view of the Atlantic, the turquoise melting to blue as sunlight flirts with the clouds, while we enjoy seasonal fruits such as mangos, guanabanas, grapefruits, pineapple, guavas, passion fruits or oranges.
After our excursion to the mountains, we return to the wooden and stony ranch to relax and enjoy coffee while allowing the song of the birds and the beauty of the flowers to massage our worries away.
We finish the day with a swim in our mineral water pool with a waterfall in which we can enjoy the cool freshness of nature. After our swim, we ride back through the rain forest, passing a winding stream seven times until we reach the fishing village from where you will be transported back to your hotel. There you can rest and feel content physically, mentally and emotionally after an incredible day.
Also we have the same full-day adventure offer without horse riding! We walk along the mangroves and step upstream to the ranch, about a half hour’s walk!

We also offer a full-week stay here in the North, and we can personally attend to your mother tongue. We will arrange accommodations will be at a beach-front hotel in Cabarete which includes breakfast. Every other day, we will pick you up and bring you to several ECO destinations as an individual tourist personally treated by us. The first on the list of destinations is the power place LUNABERG with the full range, then the PLAYA GRANDE beach with a lobster meal. Then we have marked one day during which we will lead you all over the north coast to SOSUA and PUERTO PLATA to the shopping opportunities as well as to the sightseeing attractions of both cities. The remaining 3 days are available to spend in Cabarete where there are several recreational opportunities (eg: windsurfing, kiteboarding, swimming, fishing, etc.).
The week includes transfer from the airport or to the airport in Puerto Plata as well as the transfer to the above destinations, and accommodations in a hotel or an apartment with a double room and breakfast, and lunch only on the days of the tours. Drinks are not included in the package price.
Upon request, we can offer a second week with 3 more destinations such as: SANTIAGO, the secret city with all its possibilities, LAS TERRENAS, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, an unforgettable beach horse riding experience at the famous LA ERMITA, and mangrove lagoon and sightseeing in GASPAR HERNANDEZ, an original still virgin small town and the home of an original saddle workshop.
